*We Do not Accept Digital Press Kits: We use to in the past, yet no more. True, many don't like the fact we want your submission sent the old school way. The bottom line intent, is there is a test involved in our request for this format listed below. Failure to Send per Our Requirement. Will Constitute Failure to Review.
*Under Media content expected. Make Sure you Send only those Formats.
*Keep it Real. Keep it Simple. Exhibit Your Best. Show You are Serious in Your Art.

BASIC RULES:
YOUR SUBMISSION WILL NOT BE RETURNED: Make Sure You are "NOT" Sending any Master's or Final Copies of Art Work You Need. Your submission also becomes property of Murder Morgue Records. (There Is No Exceptions). To be filed or destroyed by us, at any time or method we see fit for any reason. Most of the time we file the submissions. Even if there is no intent of signing or making offers to the submitting artist(s). Your submission, is your creative intelligence, so make sure you are comfortable with this rule. When we state your submission becomes property. We do not mean it becomes ours to utilize for our own success. WE DON'T DO THAT SHIT! We only keep the submission as property for the purpose of filing. One reason, we will file your submission, especially, if we have no intent of contacting you. Is due to the fact we will resubmit you to a potential industry contact in the future. (of which you will be contacted before this happens). To ensure you get some sort of assistance for your effort.

So Guess Who You will Have the Opportunity to Join if you choose! That is the reason why!

If you have a manager or preferred personal manager who books for you and they agree in your joining us; They also must be willing to submit their honesty, honor, belief, and will to work for our cause; We will not owe them nor promise them anything; If we decide they go, they go; Yet, certain situations and artists just have that soul they need and who has been there since the beginning; We understand! Just know if they are required, they must contract with us also, or you pay them out of your own pocket, as you have been; to include any and all studios (the studio must be ready to sign Exclusive/ Non-Exclusive contracts pending the situation and your need), whom you wish to work with...

After the official day or date we receive your submission. Allow one to three months time before we make contact or a decision. Pending we accept your submission or want to sign you; If you do not hear any feed back during that period or after, then consider your submission done; Either fix and re-submit or try again at a later time; No pestering or over messaging during this time; You will be ignored during the decision process if you do such actions.

With us consider your dead ends over, even if you are not a genre or type of artist we look to sign. No BULLSHIT! We will aid you in pointing fingers or guiding you like a GPS navigation system to where you need to be and reside. We have tons of contacts, friends, and knowledge in this business. From Local, Regional, National / Mainstream, Labels (in the same three), Artist in your Genre, and on and on.... (i.e. for example: HF himself has spent time with Toby Keith, Lee Ermy of Full Metal Jacket, Ted Nugent, Esham, ICP, Twista, and on and on: true he himself is not famous, but he chooses to be where he is, fame isn't where it's at, its the fact you believe in your art). Our goal, is not only to build a record label, but also create a true hub for all artists, musicians, bands, stores, and venues to operate in one central location. With that goal in mind we are serious about our goals and agenda.
True! Many organizations have done or have currently attempted to do this over the years. The major difference is.... They don't have the knowledge or tactics we do! So take it with a grain of salt, it's your art and your success, and if you are true to your art and do your home work, you will find away. Although, if your tired of getting no where, and would like to work with a team that is, Honest, honorable, willing to guide, and willing to help you... Then all you have left to do is give us a try......
FIVE WAYS AND FIVE METHODS WE OFFER:
We have five ways and methods to submit your information and press kits to our label. Below the needs, requirements, and rules will be listed. Of those five you have five possible ways to operate or work with us. In our experience, many labels do not take the time to offer these methods, but for us we are not your typical label. The performing arts world and the battleground that is music has changed.... so we have changed over the years how we operate. Even better methods and tactics will be employed in the future....
The Five Methods we offer are the Following:
OFFICIAL ARTIST SUBMISSION:
The title explains itself! Sending a submission for this method means you are interested in becoming an official artist to Murder Morgue Records. The fact is we are strict on these submissions. Meaning, there are serious strict rules and regulations we have in place for this type of submission. We also have specific styles of music and genre's we look for in this form of submission. There are also regulations in regard to contact for this method. All standards set in place below have to be met and followed. You also have to be willing to put in extreme work when selected. Currently, all of our artist are under a break period, but in the oncoming months our label will be a war machine and you will see what we mean.
UNSIGNED ARTIST SUBMISSION:
In the now and near future, there will be artist we support and host that are not official artist with our label. The rules and regulations for this method of submission are below. An artist or band, selected for this submission, will have the ability to be hosted, by us here at MurderMorgue.com and in the Morgue Store. Artist selected here are contracted to us and must be as faithful to the Murder Morgue world, as we are on a daily basis. You, also will have the ability to sell your products in the Morgue Store (percentage of profits back included). You also get a page through us, and you become a leader in the Murder Morgue Street Team. Meaning, you will get represented by us, but you must represent us, and spread the word. This position, is also strict, in regards to you aiding us for aiding you. Artists in this assignment can also be "Opted Out" at any time without loss on both sides. This really isn't a bad measure to be apart or signed too. You are treated in high regard when being placed here. It is like you are signed to the Morgue, and we do promote the fuck out of you, but officially your not... This is also the breeding ground for future artist to Murder Morgue Records.
M.S.A. ALLIANCE of ARTIST MEMBERSHIP:
This is our newest baby and side goal, that has been talked about for a year. Officially, created on 21 MARCH 2010. Simply put! This is our method for artists, bands, studios, work for hire musicians, stores, and venues to post and flaunt links to their sites. This is our method of not only promotion for them, yet a new and easy way, to have them belong to a promotional service, that is reasonable and affordable. The M.S.A., is designed for all Local, Regional, and National Independent groups and business. Mainstream, groups are not allowed, although they have the power to become sponsors to our cause, from within the sponsors section of MurderMorgue.com.
Granted, there is a one time payment per year, that is mandatory, and the next payment isn't required for another 365 days. The fee, is small and worth it for these groups that are into serious promotion of their work or business and looking to reach thousands of viewers per week and month. Meaning our Audience here at our website! We know allot of artist and bands will not enjoy the fact we charge a fee, but the fee is small and worth it. We have space, but the rental fee, is strictly for maintenance and a means to maintain space. Granted, in time, you could spend thousands on other regions of the web or on the street to promote, but for those serious enough about reaching broader audiences, this is a small cry. Not all of our audience listens strictly, to what we do, as artists and a label ourselves. Many of our audience enjoys all forms of music. Aside, from this, Murder Morgue becomes a hub where even artist and other bands in the performing arts can access information for music stores, venues, work for hires, and studios. In the future, the M.S.A. Alliance will have and operate it's own website with chapters across the country and in time internationally.
D MORGUE FILM AND SOUND STUDIO:
This is Murder Morgue Records personal post production studio. Owned and operated by the owner of Murder Morgue Records, Daniel Thomas. Currently, the studio is under a major move to a different location. Hence, the reason the page here on MurderMorgue.com, isn't available for use or getting work done. The studio, is a lesson learned from a previous affiliation. By, the beginning of May, the information, services, and page to D MORGUE Studio, will be available.
This will be a means for artists and bands to have post production work done. Meaning, you get your material down and professionally done with us in a post production manner, so that you can find the most affordable mastering and sound engineer to complete your work for multi-regional / national promotion. Of course, we already know some and have them on hand for you. The studio, is a Analog and Digital recording facility. Meaning, if you want your music in the old analog way or digitally constructed or both. We can do it for you! The digital software we operate off of is the following: Cubase Software products, REASON products, Big Fish Audio Products, REAPER software, Sony Software, and various independent softwares. Analog: Tascam products - to include 24-32 tracks of production, M-Audio products, Korg products, Behringer products. Both condenser and standard vocal mics. Computer systems are both P.C. and Apple (primary method of operation). Instruments: Keyboards and synths. Guitars and Drums- are contracted out for a small rate for you if required. Certain jobs done will require Exclusive or Non-Exclusive contracts between you and the studio.

OPERATION ORION:
Simply put! The purpose of this operation, is a means for you to ask questions and obtain information. Murder Morgue Records, is willing and always here for you, although we are not to be used and expected to divulge information or trade secrets. This operation, named so, since Orion, is one of the greatest hunters in mythology and it will be the Murder Morgue Team doing the hunting for you. This Allows, artist or music business contacts to ask, obtain, and move to manage their goals. Ok! We'll quit bull shitten, we made the name of this feature up cause it sounds cool. Either way! If you have a serious question in regards to music and the music business. Need help in furthering your career. Can't figure something out and need help. Well! That is the purpose here.... To provide you a means to know! Operation Orion serves, as a means, to point the finger and allow you to navigate your way towards your goal. For example: Someone emails the Operation Orion Contact Form. They ask, "I'm looking to get my music on video games. How do I do so?" From there, we review your submission via the contact form and begin searching. Going through our own industry contacts and other means. Give us a few days! Then BAMMMmmmmm, You will have some real sources for you to look into in the form of a report...
The OPERATION ORION service, is "FREE", and hosted by us and is our basic form of a "Questions & Answers" Source. Feel free to ask us if you need help in your specific genre to progress in your career. This service, is mainly for genre's outside of the Murder Morgue Records style of genre's. For example: Your a country artist, but need some knowledge. You get it! Most are probably saying, "Yeah, but what the fuck you know about country or contacts there in!" Well! For example: One of Garth Brooks homes is about 8.5 miles from where we operate. We are not above nor below sending one of our soldiers to bombard his mail box with information to contact you. True, we don't know him personally, nor would make the effort to hang out with him, but you get the point. "That's Jokes by the Way!" We are not going to put your future in jeopardy, because GB's pissed, although that would be funny as fuck. Yet, we do know allot of country acts, even though we personally don't support the genre. You get the point! (it is true though our operations room, is 8.5 miles from one of "Thunder Rolls" homes.) (creepy how we know this and most locals don't, we don't spy on people by the way).
Another thing to keep in mind! We do not give information about trade secrets or other groups trade secrets. Unless! They are enemies and we can't stand them or the fact they disease this industry. JK by the way! (not really). Especially, our own trade secrets! Meaning, if you ask, "What is the distribution company you guys go through to get your artists albums made. Like HF's "OF Tha' NIGHT" single CD release version?" That you will never get an answer! Unless your willing to pay a serious amount of change for it! WE DO NOT GIVE OUT TRADE SECRETS! If you are only talking to us to find out how we make our magic happen. Then you are wrong! We are magicians and we never tell our secrets. Unless! Your willing to pay some serious cash to learn. True! We currently feature the ability to purchase a hard copy CD release through Reverbnation. Although, that is not the company we go through, for the Hard Copy CD Release's we sell in the MORGUE STORE. Which currently, is available with a merchandise package. Well! That company is a different story and you now get the point! This service is for asking serious questions to help your self and progress!

We don't deal with underage people, nor enjoy parents or grandma lingering like vultures, looking for shit to stir, cause their little david is jammin out. We also don't like dealing with younger kat's who don't fucking respect those older than them and think the world is owed to them. Also, in our opinion, you just fucking haven't lived enough to truly spit anything. Sorry! If you just so happen to get butt hurt over that statement! Sad but True!
* BE PREPARED TO SIGN A CONTRACT:
This applies to Unsigned Artist and obviously Official Artist. For the M.S.A. - There will be a permissions contract to finalize our dealing and when posting your site. Other than that this should be known and obvious, yet still so many ask and wonder!
* WANT TO SUCCEED:
This is not your typical record label and we don't operate in the traditional manner. In the future, as we grow, we will change methods and tactics to operate in those future times. One thing Remains and Will! IF YOU SIGN TO US, YOU HAD BEST ALWAYS HAVE THE WILL, WANT, AND DESIRE TO SUCCEED. Either, financially, spiritually, or creatively. If you are some one who can't take the time to put priorities of work over pleasure. YOU DO NOT BELONG! Now! We know you are a person and have a personal life, some of you may maintain employment elsewhere, but if you piddle fuck around on getting things done in regards to your music. YOU DON'T BELONG! Example: Let's say we build something for you design wise. We have been asking you for 2 months exactly what you want for the design. All we ever get is short answers or remarks, in regards to the design. You never answer your phone when we call. It looks, as though, you are avoiding the situation. THIS IS WHAT WE MEAN! This will also get you fined, fired, or nothing will ever be done for you until, your contract is void.
We take you seriously, as an artist or group, have the common sense and decency to do the same. If you act like you don't care we'll do the same and quit dealing with you. Also, if you treat your art or music like a hobby. For example: "We only do music for the love and we are not for the money!" Philosophy, that so many independent bands spout out at the mouth around people and industry contacts. That is fine! Yet, know that when you live that way with your art, then it is nothing more than a hobby and that is why you will always struggle. You will constantly be seen, as a "Free Ride", and never get what you truly deserve as a performing art form. We do not promote, "Money Hunger", neither! We do expect our artist to want to succeed and progress. Bring themselves from the dirt and blossom into something real and whom has goals. So if you live by the examples philosophy don't waist the time of submission to us. We don't spend time, effort, money, or promote hobbies. That is what clubs and social groups do and we are neither one!
* THIS IS NOT A COMIC BOOK CONVENTION: WE ARE A SERIOUS ENTITY IN MUSIC AND PERFORMING ARTS:
Save the Hoaky Bull Shit for Halloween, Christmas, Your Sisters Wedding, or the local YMCA kids circus (or whatever). Listen! We have had some seriously fucked up submissions and some seriously fucked up sites we have been sent to check out. We know we love Horror based music and wont deny the fact. Yet, Don't! Send shit that promotes your a bunch of real werewolves, who love to cut off heads and fuck chickens, living only in music to bite your audience and turn them into werewolves (or whatever; You Get the Point!) That was just an example, but we have gotten some truly fucked up shit. So with this known! IF YOU THINK WE LIKE THAT TYPE OF SHIT! YOU ARE SERIOUSLY FUCKED UP, NEED YOUR EYES CHECKED, OR YOUR RETARDED! HF, is the only fucked up, delusional retard allowed on the label. Everyone else!
